Word of the Week 2.0
Back in 2019, I made my first podcast: Word of the Week. I tried to make an episode every week of the year (I missed a few weeks intermittently because life) and the premise was that Words Matter.
So I not only dove into a rarely-used English word, but I also interviewed my friends and family about how they use language and words. I recorded it all on my iPhone and published via Anchor.fm.
You can listen to the 2019 version of Word of the Week here:

As you can imagine, the audio was the BEST thing since sliced bread!
Ultimately, I learned a lot about my own creative process. And doing that podcast helped me gear up last year for the first season of Not Trivial.
Not Trivial will be back for season two, don't you worry! But I decided to give Word of the Week another try.
And this time around, I chose a new premise: words in foreign languages that have no English equivalent. They are untranslatable! Because the world is different now and a little scary and daunting, but also we know that moments of joy are precious.
Each week, a short and sweet introduction to an untranslatable foreign word. And hopefully a new little gem of knowledge and perspective. When I say short and sweet, I mean it. Each episode is less than 5 minutes.
The trailer is out now!
